Our rules procedures covering deliveries, guarantees and returns
Delivery
At Bob the Bed, we know that fast, reliable delivery is just as important as the products themselves. That’s why we have our own fleet of delivery vehicles and trained, uniformed teams to make the process smooth from start to finish.
Stock items are usually delivered within one week – and sometimes even the next day, depending on availability.
For special orders or out-of-stock items, we’ll give you a clear timeframe based on our experience with each supplier and keep you updated every step of the way.
From the moment your order is placed until it arrives in our warehouse, we track it carefully so you always know what to expect. When it’s ready, we’ll arrange a specific delivery time and date that suits you, so there’s no need to wait around all day.
On delivery, our team will:
Place your new furniture in the room of your choice
Assemble items and remove all packaging, free of charge
If arranged in advance, we can also collect and dispose of your old furniture for a small service charge
Our goal is to make delivery as easy and stress-free as possible, so you can enjoy your new furniture right away.
Guarantees
All goods (excluding display and floor models) are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a minimum period of 12 months from the date of delivery.
Display and floor models are sold as seen and therefore do not carry any guarantee.
Faulty Goods
If you discover a fault with your goods, please notify us within 7 days of the fault becoming apparent so that we can arrange the appropriate inspection, repair, or replacement.
Cancellation and Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 7 days of delivery under the Distance Selling Regulations for an exchange or refund. Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable.
Returned items must be in unused condition and accompanied by the original receipt or other valid proof of purchase.
Goods that are not held in stock and have been specially ordered or manufactured for the Buyer cannot be cancelled once the order has been accepted.
For reasons of health and hygiene, any beds, mattresses, or bedding that have been unsealed will be considered used and cannot be returned, except in cases of a manufacturing fault. These items are exempt from the statutory 7-day cooling-off period under the Distance Selling Regulations once unsealed.
Please note: All items purchased are for personal use only. We can not offer guarantees for items being used for rental purposes.
